Abstract : XML and XSD provide a hardware and software independent means of exchanging data. Converting data to XML allows it to be more efficiently interpreted by other systems. This document describes the development of XML Editor Factory, a windows application used to generate source code for an XML Editor Web application. The generated XML Editor application is based on an XSD document and options the user selectsduring the generation process. The generated source code may be deployed directly to a web server or customized further before deployment. After being deployed, the XML Editor web application allows users to create XML documents that conform to the original XSD document.
