The Midwest Instruction and Computing Symposium (MICS) is a regional conference dedicated to providing higher education participants an educational experience focused on the integration of computer-based technology in the teaching and learning processes of all disciplines and the incorporation of the study of this technology in the curriculum. MICS 2008 will be held at The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UW-L) in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The conference will feature a career fair, technical sessions, programming contest, robot contest, banquet and keynote address by the accomplished roboticist Nikos Papanikolopoulos.
