CCC Poster Contest
The Computing Community Consortium with the support of The Computing Research Association & The National Science Foundation announces The 2008 Undergraduate Visioning Poster Contest Upper Midwest Division (to be held in conjunction with MICS '08)
Rules
- Only one entry is allowed from each institution.
- Entries should be in the form of a single Power Point slide run off as a poster (40" wide x 30" high).
- Team members and institutions should be identified on each poster.
- The poster should propose a cutting edge computer science research vision. The idea should be innovative and have the potential to excite the computer science community (See the CCC web page at http://www.cra.org/ccc/ for examples of ideas already proposed).
- A case should be made as to why the vision is worthy of realization.
- Registration (in the form of the Power Point slide) should be emailed to Karen Sutherland ( ) by April 5, 2008.
- Posters will be displayed during coffee breaks at MICS '08.
- Posters will be judged by a faculty committee at MICS '08.
- A $100 prize will be awarded by CCC to the winning entry.
- The winning poster will be displayed on the CCC Web Site.
The CCC supports the computing research community in creating compelling research visions and mechanisms to realize these visions.
